Ingredients

How to make it

  • Saute garlic in oil and then add frozen Butter Beans. Let this cook until the beans become sticky or there's no more oil in the pan. Add the squished tomatoes. Using the tomato can, add about 1 1/2 cans of water to the bean mix and simmer for about 1 1/2 hrs. (reducing)
  • Cook cut up or broken spaghetti.
  • Mix all together.
  • Good Luck!

This is similar to my Dads recipe. I smash my garlic the same way it is quick and you only have to clean one utensil..the knife.
You have my 5 fork rating

Love those Grandma's! Cooking to them was an art. Can you imagine cooking and no convenience products to help it along... OMG! What a thought!

I love Lima's... so this is a must. Thanks!
Remember, everything Grandma made was better.. or at least it seemed that way to me! But I'm a Grandma now... so I hope my Grand kids feel the same!
