How to make it

  • Mix first 7 ingredients lightly and shape into six large patties
  • Brown on both sides in butter in skillet
  • Remove patties and pour off fat
  • Mix remaining ingredients in skillet and bring to a boil
  • Add patties, cover and simmer about 30 minutes, turning and basting with the sauce
  • If you wish, make smaller patties to serve more people but cut down cooking time accordingly

I finally made this last night. Everybody loved it, yay! It was easy and fast AND different, yay! It's super-filling, so there were leftovers this morning, yay again! No downside - I'll be making this one over and over. Thanks for the A+ post!
