How to make it

  • Layer half the sauerkraut in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Pour 1/3 of the dressing over it; place 3 chicken breasts on top and spread with 1 tbsp of the mustard.
  • Top with remaining sauerkraut, chicken breasts and mustard; pour another 1/3 of the dressing over all. Reserve the remaining 1/3 of dressing for serving.
  • Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender. Sprinkle swiss cheese and cook until cheese is melted. Serve with reserved dressing.
