How to make it

  • Preheat grill to medium heat
  • Place half of the ribs in single layer in center of each sheet of foil
  • Mix brown sugar and seasonings
  • Rub evenly over both sides of ribs
  • Bring up foil sides. Double fold top and one end to seal packet
  • Through open end add 1/4 cup water or 3-4 ice cubes
  • Double fold remaining end, leaving room for heat circulation inside
  • Repeat to make 2 packets
  • Place ribs on grill, cover
  • Grill 45-60 minutes or until ribs are cooked through
  • Open packets and brush with BBQ sauce
  • Grill an additional 15 minues, brushing with sauce every 5 minutes
  • Note: ribs can be removed from foil packet when done and put directly on grill, brushed with sauce and turned every 5 minutes. I prefer to leave them in the foil packets.
