Banana and Onion Soup

I stumbled onto this recipe...and thought it was a little bizar...just the kind of thing I like to try once or twice...I think I will scale the recipe down tho as will probably be the only one game enuf....just on namesake alone. Ingredients
- 6 bananas, peeled, sliced shopping list
- 4 onions, peeled, sliced thin shopping list
- 2 cups milk, scalded shopping list
- 3 cups water, boiling shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- seasonings to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Boil all ingredients together for about 25 minutes.
- Pass through a sieve.
- Put soup back in stew pan, boil for 1 minute, then serve.

all right you all, I have made this. It is good! try it! The "seasonings to taste" part is important. I added white pepper to mine, keeping it simple, but could go all kinds of directions with this.. the ingredients are simple and cheap! come on!...more
