Sweet Beer Bread

- 3 cups of sifted (not packed) self rising flour (OR 3 cups plain flour + 1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder + 1 1/2 tsp. salt ) shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 12 oz beer shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan with Pam non-stick cooking spray (butter flavor)
- Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
- Pour into prepared loaf pan.
- Pour melted butter on top. (If you're not sure your loaf pan is big enough, the first time you make beer bread, place a cookie sheet under the loaf pan, to catch any spilled butter.)
- Bake for 1 hour. Serve with butter and honey. Makes a sweet bread.
