Country Swiss Chard

- 4 strips of bacon shopping list
- 1 C sliced red onion shopping list
- 2 C sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 2 tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 1 C thinly sliced apple shopping list
- 1/4 C water shopping list
- 8 C chopped swiss chard shopping list
- Dash salt, to taste shopping list
- Dash pepper, to taste shopping list
- Drizzle of cider vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Fry bacon until crispy and set aside.
- In the same pan, saute onion, mushrooms, and garlic.
- Cook for about 3 minutes.
- Add apple, toss, and cover.
- Cook for about 3 minutes.
- In another large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add Swiss Chard
- Toss until wilted
- Drain
- Stir in hot mushroom mix.
- Season with salt, pepper, and cider vinegar.
- Garnish with warm bacon.
