Hashbrown Casserole Recipe
If you are in a hurry, this is an easy side dish to use instead of mashed potatoes and is great for bringing to church or parties.

Ingredients
  • 1 package of Ore-Ida Potatoes O'Brien with Onions and Peppers
  • 1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 8 ounces of sour cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Two 8 ounce packages of shredded Colby Jack Cheese

Directions
  1. Defrost the potatoes in the microwave until thawed.
  2. Mix with all ingredients, saving 1 bag of cheese to use on top.
  3. Pour into a casserole dish.
  4. Empty the second bag of cheese on top of the mixture.
  5. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 - 45 minutes.

I do this recipe! It must be a Florida thing. WE love it. I think my version calls for cream of celery or chicken and maybe not quite as much ckeese but it's all the same good!!
