Salted Caramel Buttercream Frosting

- 2/3 cup salted butter shopping list
- ¾ cup granulated sugar shopping list
- ½ cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon crème fraîche or sour cream shopping list
- ½ cup mascarpone cream shopping list
How to make it
- In a sauce pan, arrange salted butter, sugar and one tablespoon water and let caramelize over high heat.
- Remove from the heat and add crème fraîche. Let cool a few minutes.
- Add unsalted butter, and stir until melted, then add mascarpone.
- Whisk, let cool at room temperature and refrigerate.
