Simply Superb Cinnamon Salad

Served this at Christmas dinner and it quickly vanished! It has some unusual ingredients and a light cinnamon flavor that no one expected!
Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) box of lemon jello shopping list
- 1/2 (3 oz.) box of lemon jello shopping list
- 1/2 cup red hot candies shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups applesauce shopping list
- 1(8 oz.) package cream cheese,softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 cup boiling water shopping list
How to make it
- Add red hots to boiling water. Stir. If they don't dissolve completely after a few minutes, remove them.
- Add jello and dissolve.
- Stir in applesauce and mix well.
- Pour 1/2 of the mixture into an 8x11-inch pan and refrigerate until set.
- Cream the cream cheese with mayonnaise.
- Add celery and nuts.
- Spread on top of the set jello.
- Add remaining jello and refrigerate until jello is firmly set.
- Yes, there is only 1 cup of water in this recipe.
