Quick, easy icing that dries hard and tastes good. Great on molasses cookies too.

I love this recipe because it does dry hard. It's delicious, too - and I really like it on gingerbread men...but would be great on any good cookie. Thanks - great post! =)

I loved this! I had to use way more than 1 tbsp of milk for it to work. And I was out of corn syrup so I tried honey instead.. it worked great, you could taste the honey but once it was on the cookies you couldn't really tell! It dries hard and shiny! I'll definately use this again! Thanks!

Thanks so much for the recipe. I haven't made decorated cookies for years and I have to make oodles of surfboard, shark, palm tree etc cookies for my little "surfer girl" granddaughter's graduation party. Wish me luck, I will need it. PS- I made 10 dozen of them and they turned out great! Hope you don't mind my uploading a pic of them to your recipe. Marcia

I found the recipe to be very dry, I had to add much more liquid thatn the recipe calls for. Good ingredients though, everyone loved the icing on the cookies.
