Large Batch Amish Fudge Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound margarine
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese
  • 2 cups nuts, chopped (if desired)
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 4 pounds confectioners' sugar

Directions
  1. Melt together margarine and cheese.
  2. Add nuts, cocoa and vanilla extract; slowly add confectioners' sugar in small amounts; beat well. Pour into buttered pans; chill. Cut into squares.

Wow, henrie, you've been busy posting! Was wondering where you were! This is a great recipe. We had some Amish folks near us when I lived in a very small town in Michigan growing up. Delightful people they were. They came to town every once and awhile in there horse and buggy! Always enjoyed talking to them and learning about their way of living. Got my 5!


I've heard of this before, never tried it though.. sounds good, I'm a cheese lover.. and candy lover.. great post!
