Rich Potage de Lentilles

- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 4 large stalks celery, chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups dry lentils (brown, green or red) shopping list
- 8 cups water shopping list
- 6 vegetable bouillon cubes shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a large pot. Add the onion, celery and garlic.
- Sautè until the onion is transluscent.
- Add the lentils, water and bouillon cubes.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer over medium heat for about 45 minutes.
