A peanuty twist to the old favorite of rice krispy treats. Very good and delicious. I used to work in a medical clinic and one of our patients used to bring these to us....He gave the recipe to me...

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups white karo syrup
- 1 1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter
- nearly a whole box cocoa krispies
Directions
- Cook brown sugar and karo syrup until begins to boil.
- Add peanut butter and mix well.
- Add chopped pecans if desired.
- Add krispies and mix well.
- Pour on cookie sheet with greaased hands and press down firm.
- cool and cut into squares.

Oh yummy, i had an ex-boyfriend whose grand mother use to make peanut butter crispies that I absolutely loved! I have been trying to find a recipe for it forever...this is close hers used regular rice crispies. I will have to try both ways!
