Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix Curry, Salt and Pepper together in a bowl.
  • In a frying pan mix the rice, water, brown sugar, and orange juice.
  • Lay the Chicken on top of the mixture and Dust the curry mix on top.
  • Bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer.
  • Cover and cook for 20 minutes (until chicken and rice are done).
  • Take off heat and let sit for a bit.
  • Eat.

    Looks quick, easy, great, simple and tasty. I am going to make it tonight with a cut-up chicken. I have always LOVED curry but not hot stuff.

    Okay...You got me..I must be a closet sexist thinking there are mostly women here, and only women do the cooking! I just got yelled at work recently for that bad assumption! To understand me, read your line above ..I was thinking you were a woman, and was completley confused until I checked your profile.
    Anyway, I need to try curry again...I hated it 20 years ago, the first and only time at a NYC Indian Restaurant. But as my profile says" I like to re-try things I used to hate". This is on my list..but it will take some courage.
