Icebox Cheesecake Recipe

This is a recipe I adapted from a dessert I bought at Publix. Couldn't find a recipe for it, so I made it to the best of my abilities. Easy and YUMMY!

Ingredients
- 2 boxes chocolate cake mix (could actually be any flavor mix you want)
- 1 large jar fudge frosting (or frosting of choice)
- 1 tub prepared cheesecake mixture (if I have time I make my own, but it is A LOT quicker to buy it already made)
- Eggs, oil, and water needed for cake mix
Directions
- Mix cake as directed, put into two seperate pans, I use round ones.
- Once cake is done let cool.
- While cooling, do a little dance. Makes time go by quicker!
- Once cooled, put one layer of cake down on serving plate, top with cheesecake mixture.
- Lay remaining cake layer on top of cheesecake.
- Frost your heart out.
- If desired, you can top with cherries, nuts, strawberries, etc.

To make an interesting twist, you could add almond extract to the cheesecake mixture, or any extract of choice.

I'd love to know just how big of a cake pan do you use when you make this recipe. If you use a whole cake mix for one layer (which is a great idea!), won't you need a really large pan? This is a recipe fit for a potluck and or a family event! I'm definitely going to make this for someone's birthday! Thanks for posting this here!
