Tuscan Garlic Chicken Recipe
This is one of my husbands favorite italian recipes I have made him! It tastes just like a dish we had at an olive garden recipe!

Ingredients
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, flattened out with meat mallet
  • 1 1/2 c. flour, plus 1 Tbsp.
  • 1Tbsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. italian herb seasonings
  • 1 lb. fettucinni
  • 2 Tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, julienn cut
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1/2 lb. whole leaf spinach stemmed
  • 1 c. parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil plus 2 more
  • 12 oz. heavy cream

Directions
  1. Combine 11/2 C. flour,salt, pepper, and herb seasoning in a shallow dish.
  2. Dredge chicken in mixture & shake off any excess
  3. In a large non stick ovenproof skillet,add 3 tbsp olive oiland saute chicken in batches over med- high heat for 2 min or so on each side until golden brown, and crisp. (Add more oil as needd)
  4. Transfer the skillet to a pre heated oven at350. Cook for about 10- 15 min. or until temp reads 165
  5. Cook pasta, and drain well
  6. While pasta is cooking, heat 2 Tsps. Olive oil in large saucepan. Add garlic, and red pepper, cook for 1 min.
  7. Add remaining 1 Tbsp. flour, stirring to combine.
  8. Add wine, and bring to a boil for 1 min.
  9. Add spinach and cream, and bring to a boil. Sauce is done when (spinach becomes to wilt) Stir in Parmesean cheese.
  10. Partly coat pasta with sauce, transfer to large bowl( or individual dishes) top with chicken and extra cheese
