Ingredients
  • Muffin
  • 1 1/2 Cups of flour
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C dry milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 C shortening or butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1 C finely chopped apple
  • Topping
  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • 1/3 C chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. Mix the first five ingredients together with 1/2 tsp cinnamon in bowl
  2. Add shortening, egg, 1/2 C water and mix quickly
  3. Spoon into muffin pans (use the papers)
  4. Mix 1/2 tsp cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts.
  5. Sprinkle evenly over muffins
  6. Bake at 375 for about 20 mins.
