This is a really tasty way to cook pork chops. I don't remember where I got this recipe because I have had it for years.

Ingredients
  • 1 C. applesauce
  • 1/2 C. water
  • 2 Tbs. margarine OR butter, melted
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 Tbs. raisins
  • 4 C. Herb Seasoned Stuffing such as Stove Top
  • 4 boneless pork chops, 3/4 inch thick (about 1 pound)
  • Paprika OR ground cinnamon
  • Apple slices for garnish

Directions
  1. Mix applesauce, water, margarine, celery and raisins.
  2. Add stuffing.
  3. Mix lightly.
  4. Spoon into 2-quart shallow baking dish.
  5. Arrange chops over stuffing.
  6. Sprinkle paprika over chops.
  7. Bake at 400°F. for 35 min. or until chops are no longer pink.
  8. Garnish with apple slices.
