Crock Pot Pork Chop Supper Recipe
This is so nice to come home to. Use your favorite cream soup.....chicken, mushroom, celery, golden mushroom......you decide! Apple juice may be used instead of white wine if don't have the wine or prefer not to use it.

Ingredients
  • 6 pork loin or rib chops, 1/2" thick
  • 6 medium new potatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs) cut into eighths
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 2 Tbl white wine
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbl glour
  • 1Tbl diced pimientos
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen green peas, rinsed and drained.

Directions
  1. Spray a 10" non-stick skillet; heat over medium high heat
  2. Cook chops in skillet, turning once until brown
  3. Place potatoes in 3 1/2 to 6 qt slow cooker
  4. Whisk together soup, mushrooms, wine, thyme, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and flour; spoon half of mixture over potatoes
  5. Place chops on potatoes; cover with remaining soup mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat setting 6 to 7 hours or until pork is tender
  7. Remove pork and keep warm
  8. Stir pimientos and peas into slow cooker.
  9. Cover and cook on low about 15 minutes or until peas are tender
  10. Serve with chops

Thank you so much! This is very close to a recipe from a betty crocker cook book that I have been searching for. It's a favorite of my husbands. I do usually add some baby carrots in with the potatoes and skip the mushrooms and pimento (not a big fan of either).
