How to make it

  • Wash fish and pat dry. Thoroughly thaw in refrigerator if using frozen (never use microwave to thaw/ defrost fish).
  • Pour yogurt in a large bowl, add all the dry ingredients and garlic and mix together.
  • Add fish coating both sides. Let marinade for 3-4 hours or preferably overnight.
  • Heat 2-3 tsp oil on medium-high in a frying-pan or tawa. Add one to two fillets at a time depending on the size of the pan. Cook 3-4 minutes one side. Pour some marinade on top and flip. Cook 3-4 minutes on the other side or until the fish is flaky. Remove and serve with lemon wdeges and pita bread slices.
