Ingredients
  • 60g butter
  • 185g small mushrooms sliced
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 300mL cream
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • pinch pepper
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan
  2. Add mushrooms and gently fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add garlic, cream, lemon rind, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
  4. Stir over low heat for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and cook gently for 3 minutes
  6. Serve over pasta.

This is great! i didn't actually use the exact measurements since i was making some sauce for myself...but what a nice mix! very tasty. i used evaporated milk instead of cream, i'll try it with cream if i ever cook for someone...and i added lime juice instead (we don't really have yellow lemons in s.america) thanks for the recipe!! :)


I'm sure kids and adults alike will love this. Simple to make and very yummy!
