Sweet and Sour Cucumbers

Just like moms, oh wait this is her recipe. Posted another favorite but with creamy vinegar sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers, sliced and we like ours peeled shopping list
- 1 C sugar shopping list
- 1/2 C apple cider vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Put sliced cucumbers in a bowl of cold water and salt
- (No measurement for the salt, I just pour some in, probably 1 T)
- Let cucumbers set, while you prepare the sauce.
- Boil sugar and vinegar. Stirring constantly.
- Once it boils remove from heat to let cool.
- When sauce is cooled
- Drain water off cucumbers
- Pour vinegar sauce over cucumbers.
- Chill and Serve.
