Just like moms, oh wait this is her recipe. Posted another favorite but with creamy vinegar sauce.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cucumbers, sliced and we like ours peeled
  • 1 C Sugar
  • 1/2 C Apple Cider Vinegar

Directions
  1. Put sliced cucumbers in a bowl of cold water and salt
  2. (No measurement for the salt, I just pour some in, probably 1 T)
  3. Let cucumbers set, while you prepare the sauce.
  4. Boil sugar and vinegar. Stirring constantly.
  5. Once it boils remove from heat to let cool.
  6. When sauce is cooled
  7. Drain water off cucumbers
  8. Pour vinegar sauce over cucumbers.
  9. Chill and Serve.

Made these tonight! They are GREAT! I added some Celery seed & let it simmer with some whole cloves. I removed the cloves before putting in jar. YUM! Thanks
