365 Brownies

Homemade brownie recipe on back of Whole Foods semi-sweet chocolate chip bag - always get rave reviews when I make this
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter shopping list
- 1-1 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1-1 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- Optional: 1 cup chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Combine butter, sugar, water in saucepan and just bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla extract; stir constantly until chocolate melted
- Place chocolate mixture in large bowl and beat in eggs one at a time
- Combine flour, salt and baking soda in separate small bowl
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the chocolate batter
- Add nuts if desired
- Spread into greased 13 X 9 baking pan
- Bake 50 minutes
