Ingredients
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 5 oz Evaporated Milk (~2/3 cups)
  • 7 oz Marshmallow Creme
  • ¾ cup Butter
  • 12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teasp Vanilla

Directions
  1. Place sugar, butter and evaporated milk in a 3 quart heavy sauce pan. Bring to a full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Boil about four minutes or until 234oF stirring constantly.
  3. Add chocolate and marshmallow creme, stir until melted.
  4. Add vanill and mix well.
  5. Pour immediately into foil lined 9" square pan, spread evenly to cover. Cool at room temperature at least four hours.
  6. Cut into squares and store in an air-tight container.

This is the fudge I have made for years. It's very easy and the only way you can mess it up is if you stop stirring it while it boils.

Alterations


Adding chapped walnut or pecans is very good. Of course black walnuts is the best nut to use.
