Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF
  • Place pie crust on an oven-proof tart-pan and prick bottom and sides with a fork. Line pastry with a double thickness of foil and bake for 8 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 4 to 5 minutes more or till set and dry.
  • Arrange sliced pears on the partially baked tart shell and pour lemon juice over the pears. Add berries and spread jam over the fruit.
  • In a medium bowl combine cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Add oats, lemon zest and sugar. Mix well and spread over the fruit. Top with a lattice crust if using homemade pastry.
  • Bake in preheated 375ºF oven about 45 minutes or till fruit is bubbly and pastry is golden. Cool on wire rack.
