How to make it

  • fry bacon (reserve chopped bacon for later)
  • dredge pork steaks (or chops) in seasoned flour
  • sautee' in fat from the bacon until browned on both sides
  • sautee' onion, garlic, mushrooms in the fat
  • add wine and reduce by 1/2
  • add olives and parsley
  • place pork steaks in casserole dish covered with other ingredients
  • bake for 1 hour 15 minutes at 325
  • I like to serve the meat on the side and put the mushroom sauce over the rice or potatoes
