CAJUN SEASONING This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Greene Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1-1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight jar in a cool dry place.
