How to make it

  • In hot oil, cook leeks, onion, carrot, celery, and garlic.
  • Add broth. Simmer 10-15 mins.
  • Add green beans, tomatoes, and cabbage, stirring.
  • Add beans, water, salt and pepper.
  • Cover, simmer 40 minutes, and serve.

    Jo Jo, This will be on my menu in the near future so I am rating it right now. It's a sure winner with my family. I can tell by the ingredients. I will change the beans to a roast that I have browned and parboiled for tenderness and leave out the beans. Hope you don't mind.
