Italian Cheese Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c. softened butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. each: dried oregano, basil, marjoram, and garlic powder
  • 1-16 oz. loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 3/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 T. sesame seeds

Directions
  1. Combine butter and spices in small bowl and set aside.
  2. Roll bread dough into a 12 inch square on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread butter mixture evenly over dough and sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Roll up and cut into 24--1/2 inch slices.
  5. Place about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and press them lightly into roll tops. Cover and let rise until double , about 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

I made thes for a dinner of 4 this week. I sliced the roll inti bigger pieces as I didn't need to have 24 as per recipe. If I remember correctly, I got about 13-15 slices out of the roll and they were of course, just bigger and as delicious. A big hit with my quests. Thanks for checking out the recipe!!!
