How to make it

  • Bring all ingredients except lentils and Tabasco to a boil.
  • Cover, lower heat to simmer 20 minutes.
  • Add lentils and Tabasco, stir and re-cover.
  • Cook 30 minutes, remove bay leaf, and serve
