- 2 pounds top sirloin steak cut in 2" pieces shopping list
- 1 cup red wine shopping list
- 1 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vinegar shopping list
- 2 pickled green tomatoes quartered shopping list
- 1 large onion coarsely chopped shopping list
- 4 large garlic cloves minced shopping list
- 3 small dried hot red chiles coarsely crumbled shopping list
- 4 whole cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 4 medium onions quartered shopping list
- 4 medium firm red tomatoes halved shopping list
- 4 pickled green tomatoes quartered shopping list
How to make it
- Combine wine, oil, vinegar, green tomatoes, onion, garlic, chilies, cloves, salt and pepper.
- Add meat and stir well to mix then cover and refrigerate several hours turning occasionally.
- Remove meat from marinade then discard marinade.
- Thread meat onto skewers alternating with pieces of onion, tomatoes and green tomatoes.
- Grill over hot colas 15 minutes turning skewers occasionally.
- Serve immediately.
