How to make it

  • Combine wine, oil, vinegar, green tomatoes, onion, garlic, chilies, cloves, salt and pepper.
  • Add meat and stir well to mix then cover and refrigerate several hours turning occasionally.
  • Remove meat from marinade then discard marinade.
  • Thread meat onto skewers alternating with pieces of onion, tomatoes and green tomatoes.
  • Grill over hot colas 15 minutes turning skewers occasionally.
  • Serve immediately.

    I love shaslik. A russian friend of mine in college used to make it, so delicious. I haven't tried making it myself. Thanks for the recipe!
