How to make it

  • Melt butter (pre-heat oven 350)
  • saute' onion
  • add soup and cream cheese
  • heat over med. heat until smooth
  • in a 9x13 pan
  • layer 1/2 potatoes,1/2cheese and 1/2 sauce
  • then repeat layers.
  • cover with foil, make slits in foil
  • bake for 1 hour at 350

    Love this because it is made with the celery soup. Celery soup doens't get the raves that it should. It is subtle and adds such a nice flavor to many casseroles. Thanks.

    I like the sound on this one! I have a similar recipe but it does not have the cream cheese in it and you sprinkle cornflake cereal on top! Im going to try your recipe soon. Michelle
