How to make it

  • Wash Brussels sprout thoroughly, remove discolored leaves.
  • Cut off stem ends and slash the bottom end with a shallow X.
  • Place sprouts in a small amount of boiling water, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for ~ 8 minutes, or until tender.
  • Drain sprouts, set aside.
  • Brown sesame seeds in hot oil. Remove from heat; add soy sauce, sugar, salt (optional), stirring will.
  • Pour over warm Brussels sprouts, tossing gently.
  • Serve immediately.

    I'm tempted..but where are the other flavors to cover the brussels sprout taste ? :)
