Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh Brussels Sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame seeds (Can use toasted)
  • 1/4 Cup soy sauce (I used reduce sodium)
  • 1 Tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • Dash of salt

Directions
  1. Wash Brussels sprout thoroughly, remove discolored leaves.
  2. Cut off stem ends and slash the bottom end with a shallow X.
  3. Place sprouts in a small amount of boiling water, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for ~ 8 minutes, or until tender.
  4. Drain sprouts, set aside.
  5. Brown sesame seeds in hot oil. Remove from heat; add soy sauce, sugar, salt (optional), stirring will.
  6. Pour over warm Brussels sprouts, tossing gently.
  7. Serve immediately.
