Sesame Brussels Sprouts

- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts shopping list
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds (Can use toasted) shopping list
- 1/4 Cup soy sauce (I used reduce sodium) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) shopping list
- 2 Tbsp sugar shopping list
- Dash of salt shopping list
How to make it
- Wash Brussels sprout thoroughly, remove discolored leaves.
- Cut off stem ends and slash the bottom end with a shallow X.
- Place sprouts in a small amount of boiling water, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for ~ 8 minutes, or until tender.
- Drain sprouts, set aside.
- Brown sesame seeds in hot oil. Remove from heat; add soy sauce, sugar, salt (optional), stirring will.
- Pour over warm Brussels sprouts, tossing gently.
- Serve immediately.
