Ingredients
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 3 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3-4 tbsp taco sauce, I used Ortega red chile
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 12 soft or hard taco shells
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper-jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • pico de gallo- recipe posted separately

Directions
  1. Mix spices together in a bowl or other container
  2. improvise to your liking- this is a milder recipe, so add red pepper or jalepenos for more spice
  3. brown hamburg in a pan and drain
  4. add spices, beer and taco sauce
  5. sautee over low heat for 20-25 minutes, adding more beer/water/taco sauce if needed
  6. layer beef, cheese and pico in torilla
  7. serve with corn and spanish rice
