Ingredients

How to make it

  • Remove stems from mushrooms, chop stems and set aside.
  • Place mushroom caps on waxed paper.
  • Bottom side up, brush caps with oil,
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
  • Pulse in food processor, combine crabmeat, shrimp, cheeses, garlic, pepper and mushroom stems.
  • Pulse 10 to 15 seconds until coarsely chopped.
  • Transfer to a large bowl.
  • Crumble sausage over crabmeat mixture.
  • Add egg, mix just until combined.
  • Spoon into mushroom caps.
  • Place on a greased pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees do this before you mix all ingredients so that is why this is at the end of the recipe.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
  • TIP: for a spicier version, ass 1/2 tsp. cayenne and 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes. To make this a meal serve over a bed of pasta with Alfredo sauce.
