How to make it

  • Preheat your waffle iron.
  • Combine buttermilk through dried onions.
  • Let stand 10 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients (flour through salt).
  • Add wet ingredients.
  • Mix with a fork. Do not over mix, the batter will be lumpy.
  • Spoon onto waffle iron.
  • Cook until golden brown.

    I've never had anything like this before! I liked the oniony flavor. I didn't have any cream cheese so I decided to top it with a poached egg. I made one half of the recipe and got two waffles out of it. I added some pictures and put this in IMI 5/24/14
