How to make it

  • Melt butter in skillet. Salt & pepper chicken to taste and dredge in flour.
  • Cook chicken in butter browning on both sides.
  • Add broth, wine and oregano to skillet.
  • Increase heat and bring to boil. Reduce heat & simmer until chicken is cooked thoroughly and sauce is slightly thickened, about 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Cut cheese in half and place on each chicken breast, cover until cheese is melted and serve.

Anything with swiss is great - I have a wheat allergy and know that rice flour will work great with this recipe - thanks!

The boyfriend loves swiss...I am going to try this but I have a question...Can olive oil be used? Or does it have to be butter? (I am a huge olive oil fan)
