Layered Salad

- 4 c. shredded lettuce or spinach shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided shopping list
- 2 c. sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 small red onion, sliced, separated into rings shopping list
- 2 c. chopped fresh plum tomatoes shopping list
- 1 pkg. (10-ounces) frozen green peas, cooked and drained shopping list
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/2 c. sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh basil shopping list
- 4 slices of bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled shopping list
How to make it
- Layer the lettuce or spinach, 1 cup of the cheese, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes and peas in a 3-quart serving bowl.
- Mix Mayonnaise, sour cream and basil. Spread over salad to seal; cover.
- Refrigerate at least 5 hours or overnight.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. cheese and bacon before serving.
