Company Seafood Pasta Recipe
I took a recipe and adjusted it to make it a bit more flavorful. I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 2 large shallots, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces imitation crab, chopped or 2 cans crabmeat, drained
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound bay scallops
  • 1 pound medium cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta, cooked and drained
  • fresh parsley, minced

Directions
  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add shallots and saute until softened.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together flour and sour cream.
  3. Add to saucepan with cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring, utnl bubbly. Cook 2 minutes, stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in crab and ground black pepper. Keep warm.
  5. In a small saucepan, poach scallops in a small amount of water or white wine for 5 to 7 minutes or just until opaque.
  6. Drain and add to crab mixture.
  7. Stir in cooked shirmp and cook over low heat until heated through.
  8. Arrange pasta on large serving platter.
  9. Top with seafood mixture.
  10. Sprinkle with minced parsley.
