How to make it

  • Saute Peppers and onions in 2oz of butter until soft
  • add cream and stock to a large stock pot
  • add onions,peppers cayenne, white pepper and paprika
  • stir
  • add tomato sauce cook over med. heat stirring often as not to scorch
  • add crab meat
  • when just to the boinling point melt remaing butter in a pan and add flout to make a roux cook until lightly golden and nutty tasting
  • add with whisk to soup
  • whisking briskly to remove any lumps until soup has thickened turn heat to low and cook for 30 minutes stirring occasionally
