This is a good flavor change for your toast, waffles, pancakes, muffins and biscuits. we really like them.
Ingredients
- --------prep. time is about 5 minutes each--------- shopping list
- -------apricot Honey:-------- shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried apricots shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- -------For apricot honey with almonds Add:------- shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped almonds shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- -------honey Butter:------- shopping list
- 1/2 cup soft butter or margarine shopping list
- 3/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- -------For honey butter with fruit:------- shopping list
- Omit nutmeg and add shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon rind shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped dried prunes, dates or apricots shopping list
How to make it
- --------Apricot Honey-------
- Finely chop apricots or coarsely chop and complete in blender or food processor. Combine apricots and honey.
- Pour into a jar to store. Keeps indefinitely.
- -----For Apricot Honey with Almonds-------
- fallow step 2 then add chopped almonds and cinnamon. then pour into jar.
- --------Honey butter--------
- Cream butter. Gradually add honey and nutmeg.
- ------For Honey Butter with Fruit-------
- Cream butter. Gradually add grated lemon rind and chopped prunes or dates or apricots.
