My Dads Creole Barbeque Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds shrimp

2 teaspoons fine and coarse black pepper

2 teaspoons Creole seasoning (Tony,s or other)

2 teaspoons paprika

2 cloves garlic - chopped/minced

6 tablespoons water

1/2 cup Italian dressing (Prefer -Kraft Zesty Italian)

2 sticks of butter ( cut into slices)

Directions

In a deep skillet -- combine pepper, Creole seasoning, paprika, garlic, water and Italian dressing.

Stir, while bringing to a simmer, to prevent pepper from scorching.

Once mixture reaches a full simmer, add shrimp.

Simmer approximately 6 minutes (longer if shrimp is frozen)

Add butter and allow to melt.

Stir mixture to evenly coat all shrimp with seasoning and butter.

Ladle into bowls and serve hot with warm French Bread for dipping.
