Shirleys Braai Sauce Recipe

Shirleys Braai Sauce Recipe
This was a favourite that my mother used to make when we had a family braai (barbeque). I have changed the recipe over the years and add different vegetables, like mushrooms, zucchini, can also chop up some bacon, it is always a hit at my braai's.

Wow, Shirley - this sounds wonderful! I'm saving to try soon. We've already been grilling a bit already and this will be perfect with any menu. Great post - thanks! =) Vickie

Shirley is my mother. We are very lucky here in Cape Town to have an indoor barbeque and can braai come rain or shine. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the post; used this to serve with grilled chicken and fall vegetables(squash, brussel sprouts & potatoes). Nice compliment for anything grilled. Thanks again!
