English Muffin Bread

- 5-6c. Prairie Gold flour (or flour of your choice) shopping list
- 1/2c. raisins shopping list
- 2pkg. yeast shopping list
- 1T. honey (or sugar) shopping list
- 2t. salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 t. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4t. baking soda shopping list
- 2c. milk shopping list
- 1/2c. water shopping list
- cornmeal shopping list
How to make it
- Combine 3c. flour, raisins, yeast, salt, cinnamon, and soda,
- In a sauce pan add milk, honey (or sugar) and water,heat to 120-130 degrees
- add wet to dry ingredients, mix well
- stir in remaining flour to stiffen batter
- oil baking pans and coat with corn meal
- divide batter into two loaf pans
- sprinkle tops with corn meal
- let rise in warm draft free place for 45 min.
- bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 min. till browned and hollow sounding
- cool, slice, and toast!
