Apple Cake

This is a very easy, but tasty cake. Very good with sour cream frosting or ice cream or just as is!
Ingredients
- 4-cups peeled and diced apples (a combination of tart and sweet varieties works well.) shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 salad oil shopping list
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans shopping list
- 2 eggs, well beaten shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups general purpose flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking soda shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon shopping list
- t teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix apples and sugar thoroughly in large mixing bowl.
- Add oil, nuts, eggs, and vanilla.
- In medium bowl mix dry ingredients together and add to apple mixture.
- Bake in greased 13x9 inch pan for 1 hour. (Cake should pull away slightly from edges of pan and still be soft in the middle.)
