How to make it

  • Cut each chicken fillet in 6 equally large chunks
  • Peal the onions and cut each into 6 wedges
  • Remove the seeds from the pepper and cut it in 12 chunks
  • Put the salt and the garlic into a large mortar and grind to a pulp
  • Add the ginger, coriander and chili pepper
  • Stir the mix from the mortar into the yogurt in a bowl with the turmeric
  • Push the chicken peaces into the marinade so they are all covered. eave for 2 to 12 hours
  • When it's time to prepare the skewers, leave some of the marinade on the chicken peaces and thread them on the skewers, alternating with peaces of onion and pepper
  • Grill in a very hot oven (250 C, 480 F) for approximately 20 minutes. Watch closely the last 5 minutes
