Spaghetti With Garlicky Bread Crumbs

- 1/2 pound spaghetti shopping list
- 3 large garlic cloves shopping list
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender about 8 minutes.
- Drain but leave some water clinging to the pasta.
- Meanwhile chop garlic.
- In a large frying pan heat oil over medium heat.
- Add bread crumbs and cook stirring often until crumbs are golden and crisp about 3 minutes.
- Transfer to a small bowl leaving most of the oil in the pan.
- Add garlic to the frying pan and cook stirring often until fragrant about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the parsley, salt and pepper then remove from heat.
- Add pasta to the frying pan and toss then add bread crumbs and toss well.
- Adjust seasonings and serve immediately.
