How to make it

  • Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender about 8 minutes.
  • Drain but leave some water clinging to the pasta.
  • Meanwhile chop garlic.
  • In a large frying pan heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add bread crumbs and cook stirring often until crumbs are golden and crisp about 3 minutes.
  • Transfer to a small bowl leaving most of the oil in the pan.
  • Add garlic to the frying pan and cook stirring often until fragrant about 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the parsley, salt and pepper then remove from heat.
  • Add pasta to the frying pan and toss then add bread crumbs and toss well.
  • Adjust seasonings and serve immediately.

    This sounds yummy!!! My Italian grandma used to take breadcrumbs and mix them with olive oil, salt and pepper and sprinkle that on top of pasta and sauce. I'm sure this is great, going to try it.

    This sounds very different, but good! I love any kind of pasta, and the garlic and breadcrumbs really add to it. Do you serve it with any of cheese? Thanks for sharing all these great estate sale recipes.
