New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp

- 4 pounds unpeeled, large fresh shrimp or 6 pounds shrimp with heads on shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup chili sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 lemons, sliced shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons creole seasoning shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce shopping list
- French bread shopping list
- creole seasoning shopping list

- 2 1/2 Tbsp paprika shopping list
- 2 Tbsp salt (you can use less, to your taste) shopping list
- 2 Tbsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 Tbsp onion powder shopping list
- 1 Tbsp black pepper shopping list
- 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 Tbsp dried leaf oregano shopping list
- 1 Tbsp dried leaf thyme shopping list
How to make it
- Spread shrimp in a shallow, aluminum foil-lined broiler pan.
- Combine butter and next 12 ingredients in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter melts, and pour over shrimp.
- Cover and chill 2 hours, turning shrimp every 30 minutes.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 20 minutes; turn once.
- Serve with bread.
- Creole Seasoning

- Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight container. Makes about 2/3 cup.
