Ingredients

How to make it

  • Brown beef and bacon in a skillet, drain
  • Combine beef, bacon, onion, flour, paprika, and salt in slow cooker
  • Stir in condensed soup and wine
  • Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours.
  • Stir in sour cream
  • Serve over hot noodles
  • This serves 6 to 8

    Oh, and if anyone's wondering - this dish is still great when it's semi-healthy. I used lowfat sour cream, turkey bacon, and whole wheat pasta, & the whole family loved it.

    This was DELICIOUS! A huge hit - will make this one again & again. Thanks for a great post. Oh, I added about a cup of fresh mushrooms: I had to use them anyway, and it just doesn't seem like stroganoff without them!

    by the way, did you know there is a crock pot group? you might want to check it out. "crockpots are cool again" or something like that.

    Made this on Tuesday. I'm a vegetarian, so I can't say I had it myself, but my husband can't stop talking about it! I put in a lot more wine. Thanks for the great post. Hooray for slow cookers!
